We are next on the escort plane....

I was having another desperate moment today so I decided to call my agency once again. Cecelia greeted me with "soon, soon, soon". I said "what is soon? Less than a few weeks?" And she said "yes, soon soon soon. You are next. Soon. I promise you".

So without further ado, we are next and it will be soon. Now we already know that soon to me means differently than to others!

Cute little story. Today I went to drop off Carmela at school because either 1) her bus was late or 2) we missed it. Not sure what happened, but I went to drop her off at school and when Joey and I walked Carmela in the classroom, her teacher was asking me all about Juliana. Because Carmela takes the bus, I don't get to speak with the teachers as much as I'd like so it was sweet to hear them talk about how Carmlela has been talking about her new sister. They said that it started a few weeks ago and she told the class that her Mommy was going to have a baby. Her teacher had seen me not far before then at the IEP meeting and knew then that I didn't have a baby in my belly. So Carmela said "yes, the baby will be here by Easter". So now the teachers are really curious and confused. Carmela blurts out "oh yeah and she's coming from Korea"! They said that Carmela went on and on talking about how cute her sister is and naming all the things she wants to do with her sister when she gets home, etc.

They are so excited, really, they both are. I just wish I ccould give them a date as to when she would be home! For now, I'll use those famous words "soon soon soon".
