Today I got the mail and in it was our approval. It was approved on 1/16/09. I don't know what happened (though it is noted on it that the "receipt date" is 12/30/09 which is strange). But who cares -- that is behind me and I got my approval. It is still pretty fast for Philly USCIS from what I am told....
So this really doesn't mean much yet. From what I see at looking at other adoption timelines, children normally come home within 4-6 weeks of I600 approval, but as I've said anything is possible in international adoption!
