Happy Halloween!

Today was a busy day for the troops! I got the kids up and of course they insisted on wearing their costumes. I agreed since Carmela was SO excited to show her therapists at therapy her costume today. We went to therapy, foodshopping, then I went to the gym and the kids to the Kid's Club. Then we came home and waited for Chris to get home from work. He got home around 3:00 and we went to my sister's house. We took the 5 little munchkins trick or treating for a few hours. The kids LOVED it. Carmela was adorable. She is such an excitable little girl. At first, she asked if every piece of candy had milk or wheat in it, then she got used to me saying "yes" to everything, and got used to eating her special candy. She took it like such a champ. I really was proud of her. She, of course, had to hold a conversation with everyone that opened their door to hand out candy. We went back to my sister's house and ate some yummy pizza (that's a treat for us as we don't buy that stuff normally since Carm's special diet), had dessert and headed home around 8:30 pm. The kids are in bed and I am exhausted!

Next year Carmela says she wants to be a witch and she wants the new baby to be a pumpkin. It dawned on me that most likely the baby will be home and not be able to fit in the skunk costume that the other two kids wore :( That bummed me out just a bit....who knows though maybe she'll be petite and fit in it anyway!

Pictures to follow, I'm too tired to download them now.....
